The Lesotho Off-Road Association is dedicated to promoting, developing, and governing off-road motorsport in the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Driven by a passion for adventure, competition, and sporting excellence, LORA brings together riders, enthusiasts, communities, and partners to grow the sport and showcase Lesotho as a world-class off-road motorsport destination.
Home to the legendary Roof of Africa, one of the most challenging and celebrated hard enduro races in the world, Lesotho offers a spectacular natural arena of rugged mountain passes, rocky trails, and breathtaking highland landscapes. Through this iconic event and other off-road racing initiatives, LORA showcases the country’s extraordinary terrain while attracting local and international competitors.

What We Do
LORA, in collaboration with independent race promoters, supports and facilitates the organisation of several off-road racing events throughout the year.
Our mission is to promote off-road motorsport in Lesotho, nurture local talent, and create opportunities for riders and drivers to develop their skills and compete at local, regional, and international levels. Through our events and partnerships, we aim to grow the sport, encourage participation, and strengthen Lesotho’s reputation as a premier destination for off-road motorsport.
